Google integrations

Echo Route connects only the Google services a business explicitly enables, using the minimum permissions needed for caller-requested actions.

About Echo Route

Echo Route is an AI phone answering service for businesses. It answers calls, follows the business's instructions, and can complete approved follow-up actions such as checking calendar availability, booking an appointment, or sending a caller-confirmed email.

Google Calendar

When a business connects Google Calendar, Echo Route can read availability and create, update, or cancel appointments on that business's behalf. Calendar access is used only for the scheduling features the business enables.

Gmail outbound email

When a business separately connects Gmail, Echo Route requests basic account identity and the Gmail send-only permission. This lets the business's AI phone agent send an email from that connected account after the caller confirms the recipient address and requested message.

How caller-confirmed email works

The business enables the Gmail integration and connects an account.
During a call, the caller asks for information by email.
The agent confirms the recipient email address and the requested message.
Echo Route sends the message through Gmail and records a content-limited operational result for the business.

Data protection and control

Google access and refresh tokens are encrypted before storage.
Google integrations are independently connected and disconnected.
Echo Route does not sell Google user data or use it for advertising.
A business can revoke access from Echo Route's Integrations page or its Google Account permissions.
